Avenged Sevenfold (vocalist M. Shadows; guitarists Synyster Gates and Zacky Vengeance; bassist Johnny Christ; and drummer Brooks Wackerman) have released a deluxe version of their album, The Stage (Capitol). This new edition includes seven additional studio songs and four unreleased live tracks that were recorded during the band’s recent shows at The O2 Arena in London. Among the seven bonus tracks is the band’s cover of the Pink Floyd classic, “Wish You Were Here.”
The band received its first-ever Grammy Award nomination for the album’s title track, which earned the nod for Best Rock Song.
