In an era where many aspects of the drumset, from shells and heads to pedals and hardware, have been tweaked, upgraded, modified and refined to improve sound and performance to the highest levels, the KickPro Bass Drum Pillow (Patent Pending) offers a new, equally advanced approach to bass drum muffling and sound enhancement.
The KickPro combines a weighted core with a non-skid, rubberized bottom and a luxurious fleece cover. This unique design allows the Pillow to be easily and flexibly positioned with as much or as little contact with the bass drum head as desired yet keeps it securely in place without applying Velcro or other adhesives to the drum. At the same time, the KickPro creates the optimal balance of muffling, tone, punch and power preferred by leading drummers and sound engineers in studio and live situations.
“I developed the KickPro based on years of working with bands like Foo Fighters, Deftones, Queens of the Stone Age, Alice in Chains, Tool, Bob Dylan, Bon Jovi, Three Days Grace, Chris Daughtry and many more,” says LA drummer and drum tech, Jon Nicholson. “After stuffing anything and everything inside kick drums, I was able to come up with a simple, compact, versatile and extremely effective design that makes bass drums sound great.”
KickPro Pillows come in a standard 17″ x 10″ size and black finish although other sizes and colors are in development. The Pillows are available at leading drumshops and have a suggested retail price of $59.99. To learn more visitwww.kickpropillow.com, email email@example.com or phone 323-397-4320.
